The mistakes from the professional players of Tottenham did not stop with this. Another mistake was made by the goalkeeper when he slipped again while attempting to clear the ball. This give an open opportunity to Julian Alvarez to walk the ball inside the net and get another goal for Atletico. 

After a series of mistakes and blunders from Tottenham, the interim manager, Igor Tudor, made a tough decision to substitute the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the game. The goalkeeper was substituted with Gulielmo Vicario.

The second half started with Tottenham showing aggressive spirit and trying to push forward to create chances.  however Atletico was determined to regain their lead, and after the attack by Tottenham, they started their counter strategy.

The home team started the ball from defence to attack, and Julian Alvarez finished the ball with a composed strike to regain the lead for his team and make the scorecard 5-1.

Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak also made a rare mistake at the end of the game.

Following a weak clearance from the goalkeeper of Atletico, Tottenham's Dominic Solanke showed resilience and quickly scored to make the scorecard 5-2. 

Although Tottenham managed to score two goals, the match was already out of their reach, and the winner was already decided.
