Recently, in the series between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Dhaka, Pakistan produced a dominant victory in the second ODI against Bangladesh. After this victory of Pakistan, the series is now tied at 1-1. The visitors bounced back with a devastating loss in the first game, the game showcased accombination of clinical batting with tight bowling to help their team get the massive victory over the hosts. 

Between these two teams was played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Both showcased good cricketing strategies and played a wonderful match; however, Pakistan was able to outclass the Bangladesh players and managed to get their first victory in the three-match ODI series.

If one player has to be named as the star of the match, then it will be Pakistani player Maaz Sadaqat. The young all-rounder from Pakistan delivered an incredible performance against the experienced team of Bangladesh. he started his innings with aggressive shots and quick fire that included multiple long range shorts and smart running between the wickets. The early Momentum for Pakistan is very much needed, and this young player delivered exactly what the teams demand.

Maaz Sadaqat's incredible performance held Pakistan to set a target for the home side, showcasing his maturity under pressure and commenting on his role as one of the key players of the series. The inning was completed by the contribution from the middle order with the stable batsman structureing partnership to ensure Pakistan put a huge total. The batting approach from all the better combined aggressive and consistent, which put Bangladesh on the back foot, especially in the initial stages of the game. 

Remarkable bowling performance from Pakistan 

The bowling performance from Pakistan was equally impressive as all the bowlers continued to maintain pressure on Bangladesh experience batsman. The use of disciplined lines and land to restrict the innings of Bangladesh is done presisedly and the bowlers were able to put pressure on each batter. The spin attack was especially effective in exploring the conditions in Dhaka and creating pressure that led to multiple falls of wickets in important moments.

The first bowlers also played an important role by mixing up face and movement to trouble the top order of Bangladesh. Bangladesh struggled to structure a partnership with multiple wickets falling at regular intervals. Surprisingly, Pakistan also showcased tight fielding throughout the inning, cutting off a single and creating pressure on the Bangladesh batsmen.

By batting first, Pakistan put up a score of 274 runs in a total of 47.3 overs. The Pakistan team was bowled out by Bangladesh in 47.3 overs, with the highest scoring individual being Maaz Sadaqat, who scored a total of 75 runs in just 46 balls, including 6 fours and 5 sixes.  

Other Pakistani players also played important roles, including Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Agha, and Sahibzada Farhan, who scored 44, 64, and 31, respectively. Bangladeshi bowlers were able to bowl out the whole Pakistan team, with Rishad Hossain leading the bowling attack with 3 wickets and 2 wickets for the captain, Mehidy Hassan. Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, and Nahid Rana each picked up one wicket. 

While chasing the target, rain interrupted the match, and the game was reduced to 32 hours according to the DLS method. The new target for Bangladesh is now 243. However does struggle for Bangladesh was continued because they were never able to build any partnership, and the wickets were falling continuously. 

Litton Das tried his level best to secure the match for Bangladesh; however, he was lbwed by Maaz Sadaqat at just 41 runs. After constant struggle, the inning for Bangladesh was completed on 114 runs, and the whole team was bowled out. Haris Rauf and Maaz Sadaqat both picked up three wickets each, and the captain, Shaheen Afridi, picked 2 to get the victory.  

Conclusion 

The comprehensive performance by Pakistan showcases their ability to initiate a comeback under pressure. Maaz Sadaqat’sMatch winning performance and disciplined bowling attack allowed Pakistan to get a solid victory against Bangladesh. 

Bangladesh put up a good fight against Pakistan; however, they were never able to build Momentum through their batting. Bangladesh will have to think about its approach while batting. The final match between the two teams will be highly competitive, with the series hanging in the balance.
