After constant pressure in the penalty area, the ball finally found its way to Parthib Gogoi. The forward shows great composure as he controlled the ball and precisely put his shot past Arshdeep Singh, the Punjab FC goalkeeper.

After conceding the goal, North East United FC responded immediately. 

Just 3 minutes after conceding the goal, substitute Suhail Bhat made a brilliant run down the left wing. After getting past the midfielders, the individual recently passed the ball towards Nsungusi Jr Effiong. 

Waiting for the right opportunity, Nsungusi Jr Effiong reacted quickly and tapped the ball inside the net to score NorthEast United's first goal. After this goal, the score is now 1-1.

After the equaliser, both teams look determined and focused to get the victory. multiple attempt was made by both teams; however, the defence from both sides was strong and saved multiple chances.
