A tense finish in Hyderabad saw LSG emerge victorious. We've now witnessed two successive last-over finishes. Will that trend continue? Well, the I0$ match has already started. See you there. Switch tabs to follow the action.

B0$ We are very happy because we had lost the previous match at home, so it was very important for us to win this match to build momentum. Once you get that start, the winning momentum continues. (on his preparation for this IPL) If you like cricket, and if you want to play at any level, then it is important to be in touch with the game. Look, if you want to perform at a good level, it’s very important to maintain your fitness. First you have to be fit then you can show your skill. Regarding domestic cricket, my plan was to be in touch with the game, so that I can be in the flow. That's why I played all the matches. (on his changes to his bowling today) Without skill and without experience, nothing works. It's about quickly adapting to the conditions and reading them is very important. Last year too I was here, a lot of slower balls were bowled. That was in the mind of all the bowlers and the opponents bowled a lot of slower balls, so I thought why not I try it too.

B0$ "Definitely, it's a big plus. When you can stay at the last and finish the match, definitely a good plus for us. (on their bowling) I think definitely. I think with bowlers, you've got to appreciate them more than often, because those are the people who set you for the matches, especially when you bowl first. I think Shami bhai, Avesh, Rathi, I think everyone contributed really well, especially Siddharth coming in today. We decided at the ground that he's going to make a play and he did really well for us. (on his talk to the team) We feel like, only thing is there is never a perfect match. You've got to be critical as a management, but at the same time, you've got to appreciate what's happening inside. I think the only conversation is, looking to, execute the plan rather than feeling that I can do all this. Trust your preparation and just take on the game. (on the target) See, there's no complaint because of the target, but at the same time, when you start so well, like I said before, you've got to be critical, but at the same time, we are looking to learn as a team and get better with each and every match. (on his batting) What ends well is all well. We always say that, but at the same time, for me personally, I know I have been preparing really well and giving my 200%. I just let my bat do the talking. I just don't want to talk about that. I think my colleagues and my management knows, how much I'm working hard and that's all matters to me."

B0$ "It was nice to be back up top. Again, like I mentioned before the game, not too fussed about where I find myself in the order. But got a great relationship with Mitch and nice for us to get us off to a semi-decent start today. (was it gripping?) I actually think when we batted, the new ball, was probably the best time to bat I think. Then it got slower again. Obviously it was different when they batted first. The wicket gradually I felt got better throughout the game. So we sort of said it's playing relatively well, and sort of back your options and then hope they work out. Important that we had a decent powerplay and set the game up. (on batting with Marsh) Yeah, look, the familiarity is obviously great. Spent the whole of last season together and you sort of just discussing what you feel comfortable doing on the wicket. Potentially what the bowlers might throw at us and trying to find a plan to counter that. It's nothing too serious between the two of us out there and trying to play with a smile on our faces and express ourselves. (on him not bowling) Means we have bowled well, if I am not bowling. So I'm happy If don't bowl."

B0$ "No. I think it was a very good game, the total was not enough on the board. I think the bowlers did an extremely good job today. They bowled according to the plan to the right areas, credit goes to the fielders as well for putting all the effort. But one or two boundaries in these kind of totals can go and take the match here and there. So yeah, but I'm happy with the way we fought this game. (good fightback with the bat) Yeah 100%, I think losing four wickets so early, it gives pressure to other batsmen as well. So, I think, but still, I'll appreciate Klasee and Nitish for taking the total so deep. And batting like in a very good manner, like how it was needed. So yeah, credit goes to them. But yeah, we need to work on batting as well, giving so many wickets early on makes it easier for the against team. Yeah, 100%. That was the plan, but he was taking on singles, he was smart about it. And that is something, you look for when you're chasing these kind of totals. But yeah, bowled well, but we have to give credit to the batters as well because they, Rishabh played well. As the partnership was needed, at that point of time when they were losing wickets. So, looking at this total, it was actually very hard to defend, but taking it to the last over, gives us a lot of positive notes out of it. (on their bowling, not bowling Harshal his full quota) Yeah, no, I think we were just thinking of bowling Harsh at that point of time and looking for wickets and we got those wickets, he bowled pretty well in those overs. So, it was our side. But like I said, sometimes when the margin is not so much, one or two boundaries will suddenly change the game and that's what happened in the 17th over, I guess, when we got so many boundaries, like two, three boundaries. But I think Harsh bowled exceptionally well and we want him to bowl in the similar manner in upcoming games as well."

B0$ Lucknow Super Giants register their first win of the season. It got closer than they would have liked but they'll be pleased with the win. Chasing 157, Markram did the bulk of the scoring as the visitors scored 53 for the loss of Marsh. Pant walked in at three and started scratchily but he played a fine captain's knock to take his team home. Even though wickets kept falling at the other end, Pant stayed calm, hit boundaries at crucial moments and fittingly hit the winnings runs. Credit to the SRH bowlers who fought till the end. Earlier, the home team got off to a shocking start losing their first four wickets with just 26 runs on the board. Klaasen and NKR forged a 116-run stand with both of them notching up half-centuries. While they managed to post a respectable total, it wasn't sufficient despite a spirited bowling performance.
